I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Qld in 1988. I have also completed a Master of Health Science (Paediatric Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney.
I have 30 years of experience with working with babies and children through to young adults.
During this time, I have worked in both hospital and community settings to develop my expertise in working with babies, children and adolescents with various neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic and developmental disorders. I have a love for working with families and helping to improve your child's movement profile.
I use a range of equipment and games that I bring to you to enhance your child's gross motor abilities, balance reactions, coordination, muscle strength. I also work to integrate your child's sensorimotor system processing correctly with movement via the use of these activities. I can meet you at the local park or in a pool for hydrotherapy if this is your preference.
I’m dedicated to helping you and your child in achieving their full physical potential, which is very closely linked to their self esteem. I take pride in my quality of service and what I value add to your child's life, and their hopes and dreams. The Movement Whisperer is a mobile paediatric and hydrotherapy physiotherapy service for newborns to 20 years in Brisbane and surrounding regions.
I provide physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services for babies, children and teenagers (with plan or self-managed NDIS funding)

*poor head control and disliking tummy time
*delays in meeting motor milestones such as not sitting, crawling, standing or walking
*Torticollis (tilting head)
*Plagiocephaly/Brachycephaly (flattened head shape)
Orthopaedic
*Various foot issues such as toe-walking, in-toeing, out-toeing or mid foot overpronation (flat feet) during walking or running
Developmental hip dysplasia (DDH)
*Talipes equinovarus (TEV) or Talipes Calcaneovalgus (TCV) (inward turning or outward turning feet)
*Calaneus apophysitis - Sever's

I'm available outside of standard business hours. I generally visit you at home but I can meet at a local park if that is preferred. I also run a fortnightly clinic on Monday at Upper Coomera. I am at the Gold Coast fortnightly Saturdays.
